What Password Safe includes

Local vault: Everything lives on your Windows machine. No internet connection is required after installation.
Master password protection: Choose a single master password. You need it to unlock the vault every time.
Folders and tags: Group logins by project or department so you can search and filter quickly.
Simple search: Type a keyword to locate a record instantly and copy the password when you need it.

How to get started

Download: Grab the latest installer from GitHub Releases. If Windows SmartScreen appears, choose “More info” → “Run anyway.”
Install: Run the setup file. On first launch, create a master password that you will remember.
Add entries: Click “New,” fill in username, password, and any notes. Use folders and tags to keep things tidy.
Search and copy: Use the search bar to find a record, then copy or show the password when you’re ready to log in.
